Following is the obituary for Renee Thoresen Hoagland that was published in the Salt Lake Tribune (they got the high school graduation year wrong but we know she was a part of the Class of '67.)

Renee Hoagland, loving wife and mother passed away in her home on October 19, 2014.  Born September 15, 1949 in Salt Lake City, Utah to Ray and Beulah Thoresen. Married Thomas Hoagland, April 19, 1984 in Salt Lake.

Renee graduated from Skyline High School in 1968 and attended The University of Utah, studying art.  Renee was an accomplished seamstress making costumes for the Cottonwood Heights Skating Club.  Renee is survived by her husband, Tom, daughter, Sabrina, brother, Paul Tippitts.

Funeral services will be held Thursday, October 23, 2014 12:00 noon at the Butler 12 Ward Chapel, 2695 East 7000 South. A visitation will be held, Wednesday, October 22, 2014 at the Cannon Mortuary, 2460 E. Bengal Blvd. (7600 S.) from 6:00 to 8:00 p.m. and the day of the service at the church from 11:00 to 11:45 a.m. Interment Mountain View Memorial Estates.
