In Memory

Diane Wagstaff (McEwan)

Diane Wagstaff McEwan "Nanna"

Our dear sweet Diane passed away peacefully May 26, 2004
in Salt Lake City, Utah.  Diane was born March 23, 1949 in Salt Lake City, to Helen Gerrard
Wagstaff and Lawrence Ray "Scoop" Wagstaff. She attended and graduated from Skyline High
School. Diane married her sweetheart W. Alan McEwan September 19, 1969. Diane and Alan
were sealed to each other December 18, 1975 in the Salt Lake LDS Temple. She remained
faithful and an active member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints throughout her
life.

Diane's first love is her family, but camping was a close second. She enjoyed many camping
trips with her family and often said that she couldn't imagine anything better than camping with
her family. Diane was raised in Salt Lake City and has lived with her family in Sandy for the past
32 years. Diane successfully raised four wonderful children. She has three grandchildren and
was anxiously looking forward to her fourth in June. She is survived by her husband, Alan, and
their children Jennifer, Shauna (John) Shampton, Brian (Margaret) McEwan, and Marianne, two
grandchildren Malachi and Brayden Shampton, parents Helen Gerrard and Lawrence Ray
"Scoop" Wagstaff, sister Linda (Dick) Leppard, and brother David (Shauna) Wagstaff. She was
preceded in death by granddaughter Chloe Grace McEwan.
