JOHN McALLISTER

John Walker McAllister "JohnnyMac"

If you're reading this, I've gone to Hot Rod Heaven. Born on June 15, 1949 to Wells A and Helen A Profant McAllister in Provo, Utah and died on January 21, 2011 after a valiant and courageous battle against cancer. Became an Eagle Scout, served an LDS Mission in Canada and married the love of his life Rebecca M Anderson in the Salt Lake LDS temple on April 2, 1976. They have four great children, one girl and three boys. Served in various church positions. Had great love for his family, followed by a love of cars, his dogs and fishing. Worked for Auto Zone 20 years and Harmon's for 26 years. John was of large stature that encompassed an equally loving, generous heart, offering shelter and service to anyone in need. John emanated a quiet strength that reflected his love of the Savior.

Survived by wife Becky, daughter Rochelle (Derek) Crimin, Sons Johnny (Jennifer), Charlie (Jessica) and Daniel (Esther) and 11 grandchildren. Also survived by brother Grant (Judy), and sisters Bonnie (Jock) Jones, Sharon (John) Webb and Debi (Ken) Brockbank. Preceded in death by: Father Wells A McAllister, Father-in-law Eugene Anderson; Nephews Joseph Dudley and Dustin Brockbank, Nieces Angela Jones and Katie Webb.
