I recall that Pete Cook and Annette Guiac were inseparable friends in HS.  He had a boistrous laugh and a great sense of humor.  For a short while we played together in a basement band.  About the only tune we got together was Jefferson Airplain's "White Rabbit"  I was the singer, and was not Grace Slac, so our efforts never left the basement of Pete's home, but we sure had fun with it.   My ears are still ringing from the floor vibrating/bouncing volume of our music. (it was a cement floor)
